We had a little session on Tuesday (April 23rd). Amani couldn’t make it, so we decided to work on another little project called ‘ingenious’. a play on the popular ‘genius verified’ series. Verified has artists describe the meaning behind their lyrics, with some of the biggest being Billie Eilish and her song ‘idontwannabeyouanymore’, Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’ and the late Pop Smoke’s ‘Welcome to the Party’. We recorded ingenious to discuss my recent release, ‘Born Rapping’ as I felt like it needed some explanation and would be a great addition to the documentary.
